WIX backend developer

RM1500 per month (Long term project)

The job:

• Managing and building WIX Sites using Velo

• Managing backend development with Javascript

• Handling WordPress template development and WordPress back-end customization and extension

• Translation of UI/UX wireframes to visual elements

• Ensure high quality graphic standards and brand consistency

• Optimize applications for maximum speed

• Constant communication with clients to develop and deploy their content and ensuring there is a clear establishment of what can be created within what timeframe

• Developing or validating test routines and schedules to ensure that test cases mimic external interfaces and address all browser and device types

• Directing or performing website updates

The requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computing or related field

• Proven working experience in managing and building WIX sites using Velo development tool

• Proven working experience as a backend developer

• Sound knowledge of UI/UX

• A solid understanding of how web applications work including security, session management, and best development practices

• Aggressive problem diagnosis and creative problem solving skills

• Strong organizational skills to juggle multiple tasks within the constraints of timelines and budgets with business acumen

• Excellent organizational abilities and high attention to detail

• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English

• An ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment

• A ‘can-do’ bold attitude
