About the Role

Here’s what you’ll do:
Business Development & Sales
Identify and onboard enterprise clients with surplus or idle assets
Pitch to manufacturers, logistics firms, recyclers, and more
Build strategic partnerships and close high-value deals
Run tenders, RFPs, and enterprise negotiations

Account & Buyer Management
Manage relationships with sellers and ensure smooth transactions
Drive platform adoption and seller success metrics
Qualify and close B2B buyers across various asset categories
Execute deals from start to finish with clarity and speed

Marketing & Branding
Launch growth campaigns to attract sellers and buyers
Build case studies, pitch decks, and email content
Strengthen SurplusLoop’s brand as the go-to surplus platform in Asia
Operations & Support
Streamline listing-to-sale processes
Solve problems, handle support tickets, and enhance user experience
Work closely with product and engineering to keep things moving

Requirements

We’re looking for hustlers with heart. You should have:

  • 3+ years in sales, business development, or growth roles

  • Experience managing B2B clients and closing deals

  • A proactive mindset — you don’t wait, you lead

  • Strong communication skills in English, Malay & Chinese

  • Passion for sustainability, circular economy, and AI

  • High EQ, sharp thinking, and strong execution

  • Familiarity with CRM tools and marketplace platforms (bonus)

  • Ability to multitask, stay organized, and move fast with clarity
